Payment Confirmation
When a respondent successfully completes a payment through your form, QuipForm automatically records the payment and completes the submission process.
Payment Confirmations help both form owners and respondents verify that a transaction was successfully processed.
Payment confirmations are only generated after a successful payment has been processed through Stripe.
How Payment Confirmation Works
When a respondent reaches a Payment field and completes checkout:
- Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
- The payment is verified.
- The form submission is recorded.
- The respondent sees a successful completion message.
- Payment details are associated with the submission.
If payment fails, the submission will not be completed until a successful payment is received.
What Respondents See
After a successful payment, respondents are directed to your form's completion screen.
This confirmation lets them know that:
- Payment was successful
- The form was submitted
- Their information was received
You can customize the Thank You page to provide additional instructions or next steps.
Examples include:
- Order confirmation details
- Download instructions
- Event registration information
- Booking confirmation messages
- Customer onboarding steps
Viewing Payment Information
Payment-related details are available alongside form submissions.
For each successful payment, you can review:
- Submission information
- Payment status
- Transaction amount
- Submission timestamp
This makes it easy to verify completed purchases and registrations.
Customizing the Confirmation Experience
A great payment experience doesn't end after checkout.
Consider customizing your Thank You page with:
Confirmation Messages
Example:
Thank you for your purchase. Your payment was successfully processed.
Next Steps
Help respondents understand what happens next.
Examples:
- Access instructions
