Fair Use Policy

Our Fair Use Policy ensures a fast, reliable experience for every QuipForm user.

QuipForm offers generous free and paid plans with unlimited forms and submissions. To keep the platform fast, reliable, and affordable for everyone, we have a Fair Use Policy that defines what we consider extensive usage.

The vast majority of users will never come close to these limits. This policy exists to prevent a small number of power users from degrading the experience for everyone else.


Examples of Extensive Usage

Submissions

Consistently collecting high volumes of form submissions.

50,000 / month

File uploads

Consistently collecting high volumes of file uploads.

100 GB / month or 500 GB total

Email notifications

Consistently sending high volumes of email notifications.

50,000 / month

Subscription sharing

Sharing a QuipForm Pro or Business subscription with users outside of your organization.

Strictly prohibited

Subscription Sharing Policy

QuipForm subscriptions are meant to be used by a single organization. Sharing QuipForm Pro or Business functionality with individuals or businesses outside the registered organization is strictly prohibited. This policy ensures the integrity of the service and maintains a consistent user experience.

Violation of this policy may result in the suspension or termination of your subscription.


What do we mean by "consistently"?

Simply put, it means exceeding the thresholds above month after month. Occasional spikes are perfectly fine — a viral form or a one-time event won't trigger any action. However, if your usage consistently exceeds the limits for 3–4 months in a row, it suggests ongoing advanced needs that go beyond what a standard plan is designed for.

In such cases, we'll reach out proactively to discuss a tailored plan that ensures everything continues to run smoothly for you and all other users on the platform.


Custom Plans

When your usage surpasses our Fair Use Policy, we'll offer you a custom plan based on your actual past usage. Here's how it works:

  • You'll receive a quarterly invoice at the beginning of each quarter for the custom plan.
  • The custom plan is in addition to your existing subscription — your current plan and all its features remain unchanged.
  • Pricing is transparent and based on your actual usage, not arbitrary tiers.

What if I don't want a custom plan?

No problem. If you decide that a custom plan isn't the right fit, we'll provide ample time for you to transition to another solution, ensuring minimal disruption to your workflows. We won't cut off access abruptly — we believe in treating our users with respect, even when parting ways.
